Since graduating from Syracuse University, Tamekia has amassed over 20 years of experience in her passion areas of event planning, wellness, and community development. I was thoroughly convinced I was going to be an airline pilot. I was scarily obsessed with planes, trains, and automobiles. (Most definitely still an obsession to this day.)

I am extremely organized and meticulous.

I have such a passion for kids. I love being a part of putting together fun, innovative, and educational events that push them forward and provide them with tools for success later in life as well as now.

I have my private pilot’s license! My 8-year-old obsession with planes manifested itself into ground school at 12 and then my full-fledged Young Eagles Program completion at 16.

Hanging out with my two Shiba Inus. As a new dog mom, I spend majority of my downtime playing with my puppies, Riot and Rage. 

Cornelius Bates is an Event Facilitator and College Advisor for Epiphany Blue’s Youth & Community Outreach division. He is dedicated to providing higher education to students from all backgrounds in particular those who are first generation college students. From application, college essay, financial aid, and acceptance, he shows students that their college dreams can become a reality. The most rewarding aspect of his job is seeing the smile on students’ faces when they are accepted into college.

I wanted to be a neurosurgeon, which is a distant stretch from what I desire to do now. But I knew I always wanted to help/ inspire people, and my eight-year-old self thought, why not be a doctor?

Did you know:

I cut my mom’s wedding dress. The idea was to reconstruct the dress design into something new and innovative. I was very young, and this was after the wedding!

Michelle Flowers is a proud Brooklyn College alumnus who brings a lifetime of experience to her role as Personal Assistant to the CEO. Since graduating from Temple University, Monique has held positions in the non-profit and government sectors. She brings her talents to Epiphany Blue as Client Service Manager.
